Another letter of support, this one from Brian Jones. It appeared in response to some online comments posted when Darren McCoy’s letter was published. I have the utmost respect for both Darren and Brian and appreciate their votes of confidence.
“I’ve known Tara for the better part of 5 years. I have always been impressed with her thoughfulness, professionalism and generosity with her time when it comes to helping others. She doesn’t just volunteer at the high school, however, that is something sorely needed. Please take the time to meet her. She is a fiscal conservative but is very compassionate and open to new ideas. She is no one’s “yes man”.
Tara is confident, competent and will safeguard our community while brining new energy to the council. I for one am sick of people who object just to get their names in the paper or on this message board.
If you compare Tara to Paul Brewer and the other candidate who I have very little info on, she is by far my choice to care for our community. Taking poor taste shots at her through the anonymity of a message board because she is not over 50 and happens to be good looking show your lack of character, not hers.
